The first edition of the festival for classical and opera music "Bansko Opera Fest" was held in 2010. The aim of the organizers by the Association of the Hoteliers in Bansko has the festival to become an annual and its program to be enriched continuously. The event lasts 2 days and takes place under the open sky, at the town square "Nikola Vaptsarov". The entrance is free.
The festival involved both - young opera singers and established stars of the opera art.
