The baklava* feast in village of Malinovo (Lovech region) was held for the first time in 2012 and now is has yearly. Usually it is in the late August or early September.
The celebration is organized by an idea of the mayor with the support of the local community center "Sabujdane - 1927".
In the culinary competition involving both - residents of the village of Malinovo and many guest from other villages in Bulgaria - Debnevo, Vrabevo, Ryahovtsite, Petko Slaveykovo, Galata, Glogovo, Gradejnitsa, Bulgarski izvor, Bukovlak and others.
Besides races for the most delicious baklava, the event is "garnished" with a lot of singing, dancing and merrymaking. The program involves many amateurs, local and from neighboring villages.
