Music festival Spirit of Burgas (August)

"Spirit of Burgas" is a music festival in city of Burgas, held in August, annually since 2008. During its short existence the festival has grown up exceptionally and now is one of the cultural institutions of the city and most important music event in Bulgaria. The festival has many fans and enjoys significant international attention and interest from European media and music organizations.

The duration of  "Spirit of Burgas" is 3 days. There are several outdoor scenes located on the central Burgas beach. The groups and musical styles are highly varied - rock, reggae and ska, jazz and blues, hardcore punk, ethno, trance, techno, drum end bass and others. Among the performers are very famous Bulgarian and international stars. In the last years here were played International bands as "The Prodigy", "Faith No More", "Apollo 440", "Loud Jazz Band" and more.

The festival town offers many additional attractions and facilities. From 2011 there is a camping for the audience, which is located just near the festival area (tickets must be purchased in advance and are only in combination with a ticket for the festival).
