Festival of the young wine (November)

The "Festival of the young wine" is held annually in Old Plovdiv during month of November. For the first time it was organized in 2008 by the association Alliance Française - Plovdiv and was called "Chansons and young wine", but from the next year its organizer is the Council of Tourism in the city.

The festival gathers wine-makers from all regions of Bulgaria, who presented their new production. The Guests of the event have the opportunity to taste and vote to choose the best young Bulgarian wine in three categories - red, white and rosé.
