The International Children`s Festival "Peace of Tomorrow Begins with Friendship Today" is held annually in July in the town of Silistra. The festival dates back to 1994 and continuing 4-days. It involved children dance ensembles from Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Croatia, Spain, Macedonia and other countries. The festival aims to help exploration of the cultural traditions of different nations, to increase the convergence between the children and to promote dancing art.
