The House-Museum Baba Iliytsa (Grandmother Iliyca) is located in the center of the village of Chelopek (Vratsa region), on the way to Mount Okolchitsa. The museum was created in 2003 by a Committee of patriots and the village administration, with the help from Municipality of Vratsa and the memorial complex "Botev path".
Baba Iliytsa remained in the Bulgarian history with the fact she helped Botev rebels after they were defeated near Okolchitsa peak in the Vratsa Balkan. With the risk of her life she had saved one of the Botev`s detachment. The great Bulgarian poet and writer Ivan Vazov described her heroism in the story "Edna Bulgarka" ("One Bulgarian Women").
