The National Church Museum of History and Archaeology is located in center of Sofia, in the building of the Theological Faculty of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". It is created in 1922 and from then has four departments: Manuscripts and incunabula, iconographic, artistic, industrial and Historical Archives. It is a rich treasure of Bulgarian culture and art and keeps large number (more than 10 000) museum and archive objects as copies of documents, models, photographs, scrapbooks and more.
