The Regional Archaeological Museum of Plovdiv (RAM - Plovdiv) is one of the oldest cultural institutions in Bulgaria. It is officially opened in 1882, and its development goes from simple archaeological and numismatic office to the separate Archaeological Museum (in 1920).
The museum has one of the richest collections containing nearly 100,000 exhibits of human art from the Paleolithic to the XV century.
