Krastatata Kazarma (the "cross-shaped barracks") in Vidin was build in 1801 for the needs of the based in Vidin Ottoman army. Later, after the Liberation, it is used from the Bulgarian army.
The building is 2-storey construction with total built-up area of 1260m2. It is shaped in form of cross from where the name originated.
In period 1965 - 1967 the building was restored and converted to a museum which nowadays is a part from Regional Historical Museum Vidin. The exposition displays the economic life of Vidin region from the late XIX-th to the early XX-th centuries.
