Interactive museum of the local industry

On March 21, 2014 in Gabrovo opened the first interactive museum on the Balkans . It is housed in a four-storey building dating back to XIX century, which was entirely rebuilt .

The museum is themed about the local industry in the town, an tells in an attractive way, about the development of Gabrovo as an industrial center.

The museum exhibition includes more than 20 video installations , software virtual images and patterns , which show the evolution of the Gabrovo industry by the end of the XIX and the XX century . Here visitors can learn about the types of industry and crafts, which make Gabrovo in the past famous famous as "The Bulgarian Manchester" - leather , weaving , pottery, blacksmithing , carpentry , braiding , cutlery .
