The scientists are amazed by the huge walls of stone blocks, that have raised very high around the village, which were unknown as fortification system. Other interesting and quirky finds are graves of murdered and "body dismembered" men, and one triple grave of an adult man with two children.
After the studies of the site it is suggested the town was inhabited by about 350 people between 4700 and 4200 BC. - about 1500 years before the Greek civilization.
The residents boiled water from a local spring and used it to create salt bricks, which were traded and used to preserve meat.
