The Funeral mound of "Zlata mogila" is located near village of Sudievo, 8km east of Nova Zagora and 1 km from the road Sofia - Burgas. It dates from the Roman times (I - II century) and is one of the largest burial mounds in the region. The archaeological excavations were found two chariots (with 2 and with 4 wheels), skeletons of 8 horses, fully preserved shield with a bronze plating and others artifacts. The hearses were decorated with hemstitch bronze applications and edgings.
It is assumed the objects found in this funeral mound have belonged to a rich Thracian landowner who is buried in other tomb nearby.
