The house-museum "Ilyo Voyvoda" is located in town of Kyustendil. It was built in 1870 and in the period of 1878-1898 here was lived Ilyo - an active Bulgarian, member in the national liberation movement and leader of volunteer squad in the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878.
There was nad a restoration of the building in 1979-1980.
In the museum is shown an exposure "National liberation struggles of people from Kyustendil". It covers an area of 150 square meters and includes approximately 800 exhibits. They tells story of struggles of the population against Ottoman rule.
Near the museum there is also a monument of "Ilyo Voyvoda"
