Museum of the Ministry of Interior (in Bulgarian MVR) is located in a beautiful building in the center of Sofia city. It was built in 1912, designed by the famous Bulgarian architect Georgi Fingov and is a monument of culture.
The museum preserves and presents the history of the Ministry of the Interior as part of the history of the Bulgarian state.
Museum Fund:
The museum has a rich collection and has the following collections: arms; police uniforms (Bulgarian and foreign); tangible material collected in uncovering criminal, economic and other crimes under the intelligence and counter-intelligence; collection of personal funds of Police officials; collection of works of art; rich photo archive.
