Konstantin Velichkov (1805-1907) was a prominent Bulgarian lived during the Renaissance (XIX century) - an educator, writer, politician and participant in the National liberation struggles of Bulgaria. His native house in town of Pazardzhik was restored (in 1964 - 1965) in its kind during the Revival and was turned into museum (1967), under the management of Pazardzhik History Museum. The rooms are with their original interior. There are exposed many documents and photographs related to the life and work of Konstantin Velichkov.
The museum often houses cultural events and celebrations.
