Ethnographic Museum
The Ethnographic Museum in village of Lozen (Haskovo district) is housed in the building of the Community Center "Prosveta" in the central part of the village (the old square). The museum is arranged in "Dyado Slavi`s shop" - 1-storey building from the early XX-th century.
The Ethnographic collection features around 250 exhibits, arranged in one large show-room and one smaller room. Here the visitors can see many objects and tools related to the lifestyle and culture of the people from village of Lozen in the past - a loom, a spinning wheel, a hand carding, sofra, baby cradle, tools for bread kneading, farm tools, male and female costumes from the middle of XIX and the beginning of XX century, carpets, rugs, hasari (mats), aprons, pillows, bags, knitted garments, gold and silver ornaments from the middle of XIX century, coins and others.
The guests can learn more about the exhibits and their function by the provided demonstrations or to test by their self how the devices work.
