"Htisto Botev" National Museum

Kalofer is the birthplace of the great Bulgarian poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev. In the town was created a museum dedicated to the hero. The museum complex is located in the town park and includes a house-museum of Botev, a showroom and two monuments (of Hristo Botev and his mother).

The house-museum Hristo Botev is a well-restored and well-maintained building. It has several rooms, where was made a reconstruction of the original interior as it was онце. The rooms are covered with beautiful hand-woven rugs. There are exposed original wooden furniture - a small table and chairs for dining, original cabinets, etc..

Near the house was created an exhibition hall where are displayed documents, publications and personal belongings of Hristo Botev.
