Museum of the immigrant gardening

Museum of the immigrant gardening in town of Lyaskovets was established in 1976 and is the only museum of its kind in Bulgaria. It occupies an area of 500m2 in the most attractive part of Lyaskovets - "Landzhov dvor" in a beautiful old house - monument from the era of the Bulgarian Renaissance.

The museum complex consists of two exhibition halls, landscaped courtyard, where are reproduced traditional land activities from the region, the architectural monument - Hadzhinikovata house (dating from 1862) , a conference hall for seminars, meetings and exhibitions, tasting center.

In the museum are displayed more than 600 original objects . There can be seen original documents and flags of gardening companies from Liaskovets and surrounding villages, clothing, households and jewelry items brought from abroad, teskereta (written permits for traveling abroad) and foreign currency from these times...
