Dudekov house-museum is located in town of Panagyurishte and is an architectural and historical sight of the town. It exposition shows the way of life and the culture of the people in the period of the Bulgarian national revival.
The building is a Plovdiv-styled house with symmetric construction and was built in 1856. It was owned by the trader Petar Dudekov who was murdered by the Turks during the April Uprising suppression.
The exposition is displayed on two floors. Оn the 1st floor shown objects from the everyday life - traditional items of the crafts, fireplace equipment, utensils for preparation and consummation of the food and a relaxation corner with the typical litters and blankets, traditional male and female national costumes, etc.
A sign of the newly forming city culture are the luxurious items and furniture on the second floor impressive exposition, including the formal national clothes.
