Museum of the carriages

In the town of Vratsa is located Bulgaria`s only Museum of the Carriages. It is part of the Ethnographic Complex of the town.

The beginning of this business in the region of Vratsa is launched in 1883 by Mito Orozov and a partner, who created the first workshop of this kind. After this Orozov bought and acquired the shares of his partner and develop a very successful factory. The products of his factory is distinguished by meticulous attention to detail, strength and beauty.

Today in the museum of carriages are restored and exposed many of his products. Here the visitors can see also a brand new carriage (made nowadays ​​with money from donations) by design of Orozov and work of the last living master from the famous factory - Anko Ankov.
