Every year, in the first Sunday of August (with rare exceptions in late July), near the monument of Buzludja, the Bulgarian Socialist Party organize political convention of its supporters. The celebrations include the official meeting with speeches by party leaders and other socialists, entertaining program with songs and dances, picnic.
