Sofia "South Park" is located in the southern part of the city, between Byala Cherkva str (at North), boulevard "Petko Todorov" (at west) Henrih Ibsen str (at South) and Kozyak str. (at East ).
The park is well developed with alleys, flower gardens, lawns, benches, attractions and restaurants and is a favorite place for walks of Sofia residents, especially in the warm weekends and holidays. There are open-air stage on which often are performed concerts.
Perlovska River passes the park and there are some small artificial lakes. There are about 65 species of birds, of which 29 protected and 2 registered in the Red Book of Bulgaria.
