The Museum of owls is located near Sofia, in borders of park Vitosha, in the area Beli Brezi (on the road to Golden Bridges, a few kilometers after the "Tihiat kat", near the fork to Kopitoto). It provides information about 10 species of owls which can be found in Bulgaria - how the look, how the owls see and hear, what they eat and how they hunt, which are migratory and which are not, etc., and what Directorate of Vitosha park doing to save their population.
The museum is open from late spring to the autumn and and is visited by many organized children`s groups from Sofia schools and kindergartens.
In same area, near The Owls museum is located the Museum of the dragonfly.
