The house-museum "Dimitar Kiskinov" in Buhovtsi is situated on the main village street, close to the park with a open-air theater. This is the home of the glorious inhabitant of the village Dimitar Georgiev (Kiskinya).
Dimitar Kiskinov was born in the village of Buhovtsi on 25 March 1896. He was a member of the Agrarian Union party and an active propagandist of the socialist ideas in the region. He was a district chief in town of Omurtag, a secretary of Alexander Stamboliyski, member of the Supreme Council of the Agrarian Union party, the District Governor of Shumen.
In 1925 the pollice arrested him in connection with the attack against the church "Saint Nedelya" in Sofia, drove him to the police headquarters and from the middle of May 1925 there is no more information about him.
