The church "St. Nikola" in village of Slivovik was built in 1881. It keeps the throne stone of the demolished in 1850 during Belogradchik uprising monastery "St. Prophet Elijah". Once it was once among the largest monasteries in North-western Bulgaria and was located near the village in the Zarojlyak locality.
The church was renovated in 2005 - 2006. Then it received as a donation the current church bell which has a weight of 175 kg. The bell is made in town of Novi Iskar.
