The church "St. Paraskeva" in Byala (Varna region) is one of the oldest in the municipality. It is assumed that it was built between 1840 - 1841, and consecrated in 1842.
The temple was built following the existing then laws of the Ottoman Empire for the Christian religious buildings. The building is supposed to be no higher than the height of Turk with fez (hat), on his horse and there must be no difference in exterior architecture of the other buildings in the village.
The church "St. Paraskeva" was repaired in 2013 with funds from the program for rural development.
