The Romanian Orthodox Church "Holy Trinity" (Biserica Ortodoxă Română "Holy Trinity") in Sofia is located in the downtown. It was built between 1905 and 1912 by the Bulgarian master Vasil Gligov by design of the architect Friedrich Grunanger. The temple was officially inaugurated on 6/12/1923.
During bombing of Sofia in March 1944 the was destroyed the central dome and the cupola.
