"St.St. Cyril and Methodius" church in village of Bagrentsi was built in 1885 by the master George Manchov from village of Poletintsi. The temple was built with donations from the Russian soldiers. When leaving Kyustendil they give to the village an Orthodox Cross and some money for construction of church.
The paintings are work of brothers Marco and Theophilus Minevi from the Bulgarian village of Karakoy in Macedonia.
The temple is unique for the region with its size. It was used for decades by residents of neighboring villages who has no their own church.
