The work of History Museum of Tutrakan is dedicated to research, exhibition-planning, social and cultural-restoration activities. It is traces the history of Tutrakan and the region from the antiquity to the liberation from Romanian occupation in 1940. The museum hosts many documents and results from researches related to ti Ist World War and The Epic of Tutrakan.
One of the museum branches in the town is the Ethnographical Museum "Danubian Fishing and Boat-Building".
