Museum of Communism in village of Garvan was officially inaugurated at 2 May 2009. The exhibits there are donated by the local people, who were delivered objects used in those years, and were started to write down their memories of the socialist period.
The exhibition contains:
Gramophone with musical plates, radio, magneto-phone, Rabotnichesko Delo newspaper, busts of Lenin and Georgi Dimitrov, books of Todor Zhivkov (the Bulgarian communist leader for long period) and Lyudmila Zhivkova - his daughter, Lenin and other communist ideologues, notice boards, photos, badges and medals, school uniforms and other symbols of socialism.
