"Kirkova dupka" cave is located between the villages of Kasnakovo and Klokotnitsa, not far away from the ancient Thracian sanctuary of Aphrodite and the Nymph (a national monument). The cave has not fully explored yet.
According to the legend once here was hidden Theodore Komnenos, after being defeated by Tsar Ivan Assen in the battle near Klokotnitsa and at the cave entrance there is still an imprint of the shoe of his horse.
Other legends say that once the cave lead to the Asenova Fortress near the village of Klokotnitsa.
