In 2001, the Mayor of the village of Bahovitsa decided the official holiday of the village to be in the last Saturday of August. The festivities took place in the locality "Barnin Dol" near the village. The area was improved with voluntary labour and resources of the local residents. There was built a scene where during the feast, amateur performers from the Community Center in Bahovica have performances.
