Monument of Freedom (or monument of Liberity) is located at a square in central part of city of Ruse. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century (1906 - 1909) by the Italian sculptor Arnoldo Zocchi.

The monument has pyramidal structure with a statue of a female figure on the top. In the left hand the woman is holding a sword, while pointing with her right hand to the direction from where the national liberators arrived. There are also statues of two bronze lions at the base of the monument.
