On January 18, 1978, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Liberation of Bulgaria from The Ottoman rule, in the town of Haskovo were erected several plaques - Commemorative plaque of Teofana Stoilova (at the fence of Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care "Asen Zlatarov"), a plaque to the fallen in the days of the liberation people from Haskovo and a plaque in honor of one of the first Russian soldier entered the town and killed by the Turks.
This plate is made of marble, ornamented on rectangular truncated pyramid of concrete, with the inscription: "Here on January 19, 1878 was killed by the Turks one of the first Russian soldiers entered in Haskovo."
