Pancho Vladigerov House-Museum
Pancho Vladigerov (1899 - 1978) is one of the most prominent Bulgarian artists - a composer, a musician and a conductor. The artist was born in Switzerland but spent most of his life in city of Shumen. Today his house, where he made its first steps in music, has turned into a museum.
Here visitors can see many photos and documents related to this great composer and restorations of the original rooms of his house, as they looked in the early decades of the XX-th century. There are shown the cabinet and the first piano of Vladigerov. The complex also includes a separate exposition "The musical work in Shumen" and a chamber concert hall, where often concerts are organized.
There is other museum of Pancho Vladigerov in the city of Sofia (in his house where the composer lived until his death).
