The Church of St George (Rotonda "Sveti Georgi") is located in Sofia downtown near Sheraton Hotel, amid remains of the ancient town of Serdica. This is an Early Christian red brick rotunda that is considered the oldest preserved building in Sofia.
The church was built in the 4th century by the Romans. It has famous frescoes from for the XII-th - XIV-th century inside the central dome.
