Church St. Archangel Michial
The Church Of St. The Archangel Michael in the village of Krupnik was built in the period 1932-1935 by master Radenko from village of Treklyano (Kyustendil region). The church is situated in the centre of the village and is unique because at the same time is a domed, cruciform and nave shaped.
The murals were made in the period 1971-1974 and are work of the master Pantaley Seferov. The icons and the wood-carving are made by masters of the Razlog-Bansko school. Above the church there is an inscription of the old-Slavic.
In the XV-XVI century village of Krupnik was a centre of a diocese headed by a bishop. In the second half of the XVI-th century bishop of Krupnik diocese is Joasaf. He initiated the working out of the famous Krupnik Gospel - a medley with the manuscript texts of the four Gospels. In 1577 Krupnik Gospel was donated to the Rila Monastery.
