The Monument of the Apostle of freedom Vasil Levski in village of Shiakovo was erected in July, 2011 on the occasion of 174 anniversary of the hero. The funds for its construction were by donations from companies which cultivate the lands of the village.
The monument is situated in a garden, front of the community center (named also "Vasil Levski"). Its author is Stefan Stefanov, Director of the Vocational School for Stone Processing in Kunino (the unique school from this kind on the Balkans).
