In 2007, in the lands of Kasnakovo village, was discovered suburban villa of a wealthy Thracian landowner by the Roman era of Thrace. The villa is located on the east terrace above the famous ancient Thracian pagan temple of the Nymphs (dating back to the II-III century). Till this time there is only one such building , richly decorated with marble, discovered on Bulgarian lands - villa Armira near Ivailovgrad.
The antique building is partially explored and there were discovered 6 rooms with a total area of 250 square meters The walls were lined with different colored large marble tiles - white, gray, green and pink. There were colorful wall paintings over the marble wall socket - just like the houses in Pompeii, as well as mosaics on the floor, which unfortunately were found broken.
