The Ossuary-museum in Skobelev park in Pleven is situated near the Pleven panorama (150 meters east of it). It was built in 1978 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Battle for Pleven in the Russo-Turkish War. Here are buried the bones of many Russian soldiers and officers who were gave their lives in so called "Death Valley" during the three attacks for the liberation of the city.
