Ski-center Tsigov Chark, Rhodopes mountain
The Tsigov Chark resort is located 8 km from town of Batak and 24 km from town of Velingrad on the shore of the Batak Dam. The resort is situated in vast site (900 – 1100m above sea level) and offers excellent conditions for tourism in summer as well as in winter. There are number of chalets and hotels In the vicinity of the resort.
"Tsigov Chark" is an excellent opportunity for skiing far away from the expensive and luxury resorts. The ski-center of the resort has tracks for ski slope (1200m.) and ski-running (20000m.). The average difference between the highest and the lowest point is around 50-100 meters, which makes it suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers.
The alpine ski slope is equipped with three ski-lifts - two in the lower part of the ski track (this part is slant and wider and is more suitable for beginners) and one chair-lift in the upper part of the ski track.
