Yagodinska cave is the most beautiful cave in the Rhodopes. It is located south-west from village of Yagodina, at the end of Buynovsko Gorge.
The cave is 10.5 km long and has 3 floors, from which only the lowest third is electrified and suitable for the tourists. Visitors enter the cave through an artificial opening (tunnel) and follow a special 1100 meters long path with electric lights illuminating the beautiful and mysterious formations - stalactites, stalagmites, and cave pearls, formed for hundreds of thousands years. The tour takes roughly 45 minutes and is conducted every 45 minutes to an hour everyday.
The Yagodinska cave is known also with its New Year`s hall, which annually attracts cavers wishing to spend The New Year Eve in an unusual and incredibly beautiful environment.
