In the park-area at centre of town of Pordim is exposed airplane TU-134, used once in the Bulgarian civil aviation (BGA Balkan). The plane was scrapped, transported and "parked" on June 1, 1989 here after an initiative of the resident of Pordim - colonel Velcho Vleve who was a lecturer in the Military school in Dolna Mitropoliya.
The machine is shipped with two special transporter trucks from the town of Dolna Mitropoliya to the centre of Pordim. During the transportation it was without wings in order to succeed to pass along streets of Pordim. The wings were attached later.
