The Covered Bridge of Kolyu Ficheto in Lovech is one of the symbols of the town. It is a replica of the bridge built in the period 1874 - 1876 at same place by the famous Bulgarian master Nicola Fichev (known as Kolyo Ficheto). The bridge is unique and in Europe there are only 3 such bridges - in Lucerne, Florence and Erfurt.
Nowadays the Covered Bridge is 106 meters long and connects the new part of Lovech with the Architectural Reserve Varosha. There are shops which sell arts, souvenirs and craft works from the region.
