The Eastern Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in the town of Malko Turnovo was built on base of an old church St. Petka dating-back to1868. The Church icons, the altar and the church plate were transferred from the Bulgarian Church of St. Cyril and Methodius in Adrianople. One of the most valued icons is the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary, called here "Protector of the Unity between the Christians".
