This fountain is located front of the building of the national theatre Ivan Vazov in Sofia. It and its reflecting pool were built in 1976. The sight is disposed in the middle of a small green and shady park (named City Garden), leading to the National Art Gallery.
The place has own atmosphere with its open-air cafes around and the fan chess tables where amateur games are organized.
