On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the twinning of the cities of Plovdiv and the Japanese city of Okayama, in the city park "King Simeon's Garden" was erected a statue composition of the Japanese folk hero Momotaro. It is a combination of human figure and walking to his dog and monkey.
