The rock of "Kuklata" (means "The doll") is located in the area with same name, about 2 km southwest of the center of Slivnitza. There is a beautiful view to the town and the surrounding villages from here, and the place is a favorite destination for walking and picnicking of local people.
About the origin of the name Kuklata there are different assumptions. Some of the people say it comes from its shape which resembles a doll. There is also a legend that tells it is named after an extremely beautiful young woman, who threw herself off from the cliff to escape the Turks. Since then, the rock and the area around, is called "The doll" - as the girl was called often.
Near the Kuklata, in the area of Dlagshan, is located a memorial complex "The new cemetery of Slivnitza", erected in memory of perished in the Serbo - Bulgarian War, Bulgarian and Serbian soldiers.
