The Black Sea resort of Kamchia is located 28 kilometers south of Varna, not far away from the highway "Cherno more" which connecting cities of Varna and Burgas. The nearest village is "Dolen Bliznak" (merged with "Goren Bliznak" into new one - "Bliznatsi").
The resort is situated at the mouth of Kamchia River, among the unique flooded longoz forests of the Nature Reserve named after the river. Kamchia beaches are wide and covered with sand dunes.
Kamchia resort is not well-developed and overbuilt and still offers great opportunities for relaxation and vacation in the nature, away from the noisy dirty city and crowded seaside resorts. There are several hotels, campsites and restaurants.
