This monumnet in center of village of Slavovitsa is devoted to Alexander Stamboliiski - a great Bulgarian political figure from beginning of XX century. He was born in this village. Stamboliyski is the founder of the Bulgarian Agrarian Party (BZNS) and was prime minister of Bulgaria in 1919 - 1923.

In Slavovitsa village there is also a museum of Alexandar Stamboliyski which includes 3 sites: his birth-house, his-villa and a museum-Ossuary Alexandar Stamboliyski.
